There are so many different magazines based around homes, houses, property,   All kinds of publications can be bought in the supermarkets and newsagents.  The really amazing thing is the choice of subject you can cover just flicking through.  I particular enjoy the real time stories of readers who have renovated their houses and somehow were bright enough to take a record of this activity over the years, with photo history of the before and afters.     It’s a great inspiration to be able to look at a wreck of a house and see the transformation as it progressed.   My heart sinks when I look at house details on a sales site and find it has a really old fashioned dark oak doored kitchen.  Nothing fills me with more dread than the thought of trying to cook or housekeep in a drab dark room so I am especially interested in seeing how kitchens become these cathedrals of all things culinary.
